At the age of 6 years, Ala Hazrat spoke about Eid Milad Un Nabi in a large gathering, and his speech was appreciated by renowned scholars and saints. Also at the age of 6 when Ala Hazrat found out the direction of Baghdad Shareef, he stopped stretching his legs in that direction out of respect for Ghouse Azam since Baghdad is the resting point of Peeroun Ke Peer Ghouse Azam.

Ala Hazrat started praying Namaz at the age of 6 and prayed 5 times a day in the Masjid at this young age. At 7 years age, Ala Hazrat started to fast during the month of Ramadan. He was so devoted to deen that even in this early age he started to read Islamic Books and learn about Islam. He used to memorize the books and would recall the exact page number when someone asked him the solution to a particular issue; this earned him the respect of being the top student in Dar Ul Ifta, his Islamic Academy or Madrassah. He had gained so much knowledge about Islam by reading Islamic books that he himself wrote many Islamic books. Whenever anyone had a question about Islam, they would ask Ala Hazrat and he would answer all questions correctly no matter how hard they were. It is to be noted that when other scholars around the region were unable to answer any question, they would tell the person to go to Ala Hazrat and present the question to him in order to have their question answered. Thus people from all over the region used to come to Ala Hazrat to have their questions answered.

Ala Hazrat used to write Islamic books in Arabic, Urdu, and Persian. His Urdu translation of the Holy Quran is called ‘Kanz Ul Iman’ and is regarded as the most authentic Urdu translation of the Holy Quran. Besides writing Islamic Books, Ala Hazrat also wrote poetry and Naats. All the poetry was dedicated to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), and none to the worldly rulers. His naat ‘Mustafa Jaane Rehmat Peh Lakhon Salam’ is read daily in Masjids today after Fajr prayers and on Fridays after Jummah prayers.

Ala Hazrat had a lot of love and respect for Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). When Ala Hazrat went for Hajj, he would always walk barefoot in Makkah and Madinah. Ala Hazrat used to say that Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) used to walk in this area and I don’t want to disrespect him by walking in shoes over the same area. Such was his love and respect for our Prophet. Infact, on the day when Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan passed away, a Syrian scholar had a dream that he was visiting Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He saw Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) and his companions waiting in silence. The scholar asked Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) why is there silence, and Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) told him that they are waiting for Imam Ahmad Raza Khan. On waking up, the Syrian scholar decided to go to India and find out who Imam Raza is. When he reached Bareilly, he discovered that Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza passed away, and he passed away on the same day he had the dream!
