Electric Geysers

Gas shortfall is a major issue in Pakistan especially during the winter season when its demand is very high. The supplier isn’t able to meet the demand and resorts to gas load shedding, providing gas at low pressure or stopping supplying gas completely. This leaves many residents without resource to warm the water.

Having warm water during winter is very important. It has many benefits as one can easily take a shower and do ablution which would have been difficult with cold water. Taking a shower with cold water could result in pneumonia or other diseases which could lead to death. Since many areas don’t receive or have adequate gas supply, residents have turned to other means to seek warm water.

Electric geysers are quickly becoming the preferred choice in place of traditional geysers. Since they don’t need gas, residents can still receive warm water even if there is no gas supply. There are two types of electric geysers, instant or normal. Instant geysers warm the water quickly, while normal geysers take time to warm the water. Some of the electric geysers available in the market are:

Lecston Instant Heater

Since gas supply load shedding will be continuing for a considerable amount of time, electric water geysers seem to be the best solution to heat up the water. Selecting the right geyser depends on one’s requirement. Instant geysers are suitable for use in one to two room flats, small shops or business. Its benefits are that it consumes less electricity and there’s no risk of ruptured tank. It delivers hot water quickly and will continue to supply hot water as long as the tap is open. Its only drawback is that it can be installed in only one place like kitchen or toilet.

Regular electric geysers are bigger in size and can hold anywhere from 30 to 75 liters of water. They are suitable for use in houses, offices, and corporations. They have better insulation than instant geysers which means they will provide hot water for a longer period of time. Regular electric geysers consume more electricity than instant geysers, and take more time to warm the water. There are more choices available for it in the market compared to instant geysers.
